A Space of their own
Despite occasional urges to send them to the workhouse we think children deserve their own special space. The aim of our business remains the same as it ever was: to help you to create a special space that your children can call their own. Whether it is a beautifully coordinated and decorated bedroom or a flexible space saving solution with integral storage and study area – we think we have most angles covered. And to go with it we have an ever-increasing range of accessories and nifty stuff that will look good and do the job without fuss for years to come.
In the beginning
We noticed that it was impossible to find well designed beds, bunks and furniture for children. Everything seemed a bit cheap and basic. Surely, we thought, all parents want beautiful, properly designed, long lasting and safe furniture for their children. So far, it seems we were right.Our range has since expanded to include space saving beds and raised beds, mattresses, bedding, desks, storage and lots of nice stuff for the apple of your eye and their own special space.

As parents ourselves we think it is worth taking the extra time to design thoughtfully with children in mind, to manufacture carefully to ensure maximum durability and optimal function. We continuously test to assess performance and safety. With an eye on our children’s future we believe that it is important to use materials that are sourced responsibly and sustainably. As furniture experts with over 20 years of design and manufacturing experience we believe that it is worth using the finest responsibly sourced quality beech, oak and pine to achieve beautiful furniture that will stand the test of time.
We make much of our own furniture
We have our own factory in Wiltshire that builds our premium furniture ranges and we work closely with partner factories elsewhere to ensure that everything is made to our precise specifications. All of our factories, UK or overseas, make exclusively for us to our very demanding standards.
We care about the environment and we set high ethical standards
We work very hard to try and ensure that factories use timber from responsibly managed and renewable sources; and wherever possible we organise regular audits on a wide range of measures from manufacturing standards to employee welfare.
We employ over 140 people
