All orders will have a one off charge dependant on the largest item in your order.

Delivery

There is a once-only main charge for delivery according to the largest item in your order, no matter how many items you order. 
The standard charges shown above apply to deliveries within most of the UK except “Outlying Postcodes”.
*All S and XS items are despatched by Royal Mail or courier and will be delivered within 5 working days of receipt of your order (if in stock). 
**Guaranteed Next Working Day delivery (when you need to be certain of the arrival date): please order by 10.30am (not available to Outlying Postcodes. Sorry!)

Outlying Postcodes

Lucky you, living away from the hurly burly; but we’re afraid that standard delivery charges do not apply to the following Postal Areas: HS, KW, IV, AB, PH, PA, FK, DD, KY, KA and BT plus Republic of Ireland and all other offshore destinations. We will gladly provide a quotation for delivery before confirming your order. Deliveries to these areas will usually be made by a third party carrier around 3 to 5 days after dispatch from our warehouse. Please note that these carrier services are usually driver-only so he/she may need a little help with larger items.

Carrier delivery

Please note that third party carriers delivering on our behalf are contractually obliged only to deliver to your doorstep. It’s very boring, we know, but we simply cannot get them to agree to take goods into houses, let alone upstairs. If you think that might be a problem we encourage you to consider upgrading to our Two Man Delivery service.

Two Man Delivery

We deliver via our own fleet in the South / South East and via carefully selected two-man couriers elsewhere in the UK. The two-man delivery service costs a little more than the standard courier service but we will give you a 2-3 hour time slot and the drivers will take the furniture into the room of your choice, and, for assembled items, take away all the packaging too. (Please note that the assembly service may not be available in some outlying postcodes)

IMPORTANT
Delivery cancellations

We understand that life can throw up surprises that force a change of plan but if you have to change a delivery PLEASE give us as much notice as you can. We reserve the right to make a charge of £50 if you cancel/change an agreed delivery slot with less than 2 working days notice.

Please let us know about any access problems before arranging delivery. If we have to abort a delivery due to access problems we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of £50.

Overseas Customers

We regard it as a welcome challenge to arrange overseas deliveries wherever humanly possible. Outside our standard delivery areas we will usually need to get a specific quotation from a relevant shipping company. Call us or email us and we will provide a delivery quotation without delay. Meanwhile, we will save your basket for you of course. Some of our larger items are too bulky to be entrusted safely to a standard carrier and will need specialist freight handling. Please ask us about this at time of ordering. We can of course deliver all items to a UK freight forwarding address for you to arrange onward shipment.

VAT Refunds

If your delivery address is outside the UK we will remove VAT from the prices that we charge you. If we ship direct the prices will be amended immediately. If we deliver within the UK and you then arrange export we can organise a VAT refund once we receive the export certification.
